KNOBTHORN
HOUSE
Knobthorn House is the private home of your hosts, David and
Veronica Corlett. It is situated in "Raptors View Wildlife
Estate" near the town of Hoedspruit in the lowveld region of
Limpopo Province, South Africa.
Knobthorn House is only 5 hours
easy drive from Johannesburg Airport and only half an hour's
drive from Eastgate (Hoedspruit) International Airport.
Raptors View Wildlife Estate is a
"private residential estate" that supports a large variety of
birdlife and animals including impala, kudu, waterbuck, nyala
duiker, steenbok, bushbuck, giraffe, zebra, warthogs and
wildebeest. The absence of non-dangerous animals means
that the estate is the ideal place to walk or cycle among the
birds and wildlife.
The accommodation offers two
double, fully en-suite, bedrooms which are annexed to the main
house but have their own private entrances.
A "picnic breakfast" can be
arranged for those wishing to make an early start into the
Kruger National Park - Orpen Gate is only 45 minutes away.
