Five star bed and breakfast in Swellendam
Swellendam is the third oldest
town in South Africa and is known as the historical heart of the
South West Cape. It is a beautiful town with majestic oak
trees, gardens and has some of the best-preserved examples of
South African architecture in the country. It is situated
250kms from Cape Town, Oudtshoorn and Knysna and is the ideal
stopover point before visiting Tradouw Pass, Robertson Wine
Route, Montagu, Breede River Mouth, De Hoop Nature Reserve
(whale watching!), Cape Agulhas, the Bontebok Park and much
more.

The current rates are from just
£36 per
person per night sharing an en-suite room. This includes a
substantial breakfast, VAT and pre-dinner drinks. There
are tea and coffee facilities in all rooms plus port, muscadel,
beer and cold drinks in the fridges. Breakfast doggie bags
are available too. Mark and Diana do not serve dinner as
there are a number of very good restaurants nearby.
